New Volvo XC60 - T6

2018 Volvo XC60 Review

The 2018 Volvo xc60 is the car to look out for. The Swedish automakers have outdone themselves this time round presenting a model that has hit numerous right marks. The sleek looking care offers owners more space, quiet and refined diesel engine, and a very comfortable ride on air suspension. It is also safe to say that it is a smart car packed with tech.

Exterior

It is lower, wider, and longer than its previous model with timeless, subtle and athletic appearance. It seems like they borrowed styling cues from the larger 90 series models as it features large thin spoke aluminum wheels (available for inscription trim level) and Thor hammer headlights that connect with a grille. Additionally, it also has a glass roof. It also comes with three bold lower air intakes and a bright metallic trim below the central air intake as well as LED fog lights below outside air intake.

Interior

A masterful composition of technology, materials, and design are some of the words that best describe the 2018 Volvo xc60 interior. It offers the driver and passengers a spa treatment as they cruise around. The five passenger vehicle has more upscale features giving it a high tech look. It comes with a Sensus Connect infotainment system with 9.3-inch touchscreen. The finishes, materials, and luscious Nappa leather give it a feeling of a baby Bentley. It also has enough storage with a center armrest, bottle holders, large door caddies, center bin, glove box and enough boot space.

Features

Volvo’s attention to detail is stamped by a tiny Swedish flag on the curving aluminum satin bordering lower edge of the driftwood inlay. Its presence allows contraction and expansion of the metal during temperature extremes. Worth noting is that it is one of the safest cars that has ever been manufactured. It introduces Steer Assist in the collision avoidance and driver assistance technologies that the car adapts. The assist helps drivers to avoid accidents or make the severity of a crash less severe.
